Fortnite: How to Play on iOS/Android via GeForce Now

Fortnite is finally ready to make a comeback in the iOS App Store for a limited time, via NVIDIA GeForce Now closed beta. The surprising news comes amidst the legal dispute between Apple and Epic Games, which led to Apple blocking Fortnite from the iOS App Store, back in August 2020.

NVIDIA recently announced in their official blog that they will be adding Fortnite to their game streaming service, GeForce Now. The game will be available through the GeForce App and will use the Safari Web Browser. The beta is currently open for registration for all GeForce Now members. However, this is a limited-time invite-only closed beta, aimed at testing out the server capacity and touch controls.

As mentioned by NVIDIA in their official blog, players need to follow three simple steps to register to the waitlist, for a chance to get access to the invite-only closed beta. The following are the steps you need to follow:

  • Login with your NVIDIA Account and Sign the registration form to sign up for the closed beta.
  • Select your preferred device on which you wish to play the closed beta. (You can select more than one)
  • New members are required to sign up for GeForce Now. You do not need the paid version to be eligible for the closed beta.

The players who make it to the shortlist will be notified directly, and only a handful will be allowed access during this limited-time period. NVIDIA has notified that players can expect more announcements to follow once the close-beta stage is over. However, there is no exact timeline for how long it will last.
